Seems like a lot of us have this problem. My alkaline solution isn't as cool as joceyln's chai shake with chocolate, but I'm giving up decaf (yes, I drink decaf) in lieu of green tea. BTW, I my mom on the Thrive eating plan and she's already lost ten pounds and her arthritis symptoms have diminished substantially. I find with WFHO I don't feel as beat up after my workouts. It's amazing what high-quality, plant-based nutrition can do. AC

That's perfect Erin. I need to rustle up a Vita Mix blender and then I'm going to start getting freaky with the shakes, adding banana like you do. Did you find that the coffee dehydrated you? I seem to have some issues with that. Perhaps the coffee contributes more than I think. Take care and thanks for the comment!
