Their family-favorite smoothie recipe includes chocolate Vega, banana, frozen blueberries, almond butter and hemp milk. Blend and serve. Easy breakfast when getting kids out the door in the morning and you know their starting the day off with excellent nutrition.
My tip: get your kids involved in their food choices early. My son is happiest when he picks (with gentle suggestions from mom) what goes in his smoothie. Then he presses the buttons on the blender, gets his own cup and straw, and feels like he made his own breakfast. A big deal when you’re three!
