{#WIAW} What I ate Wednesday - tempeh anyone?

So given that it’s Thursday now, we can conclude that I’ve been a wee bit tardy for the party on this week’s #WIAW.

Oh well, shizzel happens.

It’s been a busy week for me on the biz front. I’m trying to nail down a web designer, but he won’t sit still.

Okay seriously, enough with the bad humor (um, like never?).

Before I dive into my divine meals for this Wednesday, I wanted to tell you about a little diet change I’ve made as of today.

No more egg whites, no more sushi.

Those were my last two animal products that I was consuming, and after much thought I’ve decided that it’s more important to me to say I reached this competition goal 100% plant-based, then it is for me to consume those two items.

Today I’m officially 8 weeks out from my competition, so I thought it was a good point to make the switch.

So needless to say, there will be a lot more tempeh in my life going forward...

Breakfast– oatmeal with half a fresh apple and cinnamon + an egg white omelet with spinach and mushrooms (bub-bye eggs, I heart you no more).

Mid morning snackie-pooVegaprotein powder with the other half of that apple and a dollop of nut butter

Protein shake with apples and peanut butter

Lunch– vegan cream o’ broccoli soup with roasted tempeh sticks, tofu squares, a dash of bbq sauce and a blob of roasted veggie baba ganoush

Mid day snack– potato with a squirt of lime, tempeh and asparagus

Dinner– a random combination of this stuff.

Nightcap– Vega protein powder with water, no ice, shaken, not stirred.

I know, it's getting more exciting by the minute around here.
