This tastes delish and will give you superman powers...The great thing
about this is that it has 3 adaptogenic ingrediants which will help you
out big time in exercise when it comes to increasing distance, weight,
and other stress loads in life!

all powders=1/2 tbls sp.
-acai powder
-chlorella powder
-reishi mushroom powder
-ashwaganda root powder
-maca root powder
-MSM powder
-half scoop vega sport acai flavour
-heeping tblsp of "twister power"=sprouted brown rice/sprouted chia/ground flax
-6 schizandra berries
-1 large frozen/overripe banana
-large handful of mixed berries (blue,rasp,black)
-1.5 cup of OJ from concentrate watered down to fill my small blender
-small pinch of dulse

I am currently halfway through drinking this smoothie and I feel amazzzzing-god bless the herbs!
Upon completion of this magnificent drink I will listen to a couple pump-up
songs, do some dynamic stretches, then hit the bike trainer and go on a
2.5 hr bike ride downstairs on my trainer whilst watching BBC planet
earth on my laptop :)

This smoothie sounds fantastic, except for one thing: frozen orange juice concentrate?!
Fresh oranges are so much healthier, and tastier! Just peel a fresh orange, poke out the seeds, and let your blender do the work. Even squeezing an orange by hand doesn't take much longer than making juice from frozen concentrate and it's worth it!

If you are in Calgary, you can find just about all of these superfood ingredients (including schizandra berries) at the little raw food shop, The Light Cellar (dot ca) on Bowness Road.

Thats a very well engineered smoothie Ted! It would be good for detoxing and injury recovery aswell as excercise!

Wow! Now that's a smoothie. Haven't even heard of a couple of these ingredients! Where do you find schizandra berries?
