Hello folks !

I'm new here and so happy to be part of the Vega Community ! I hope to meet plenty of health/fitness oriented people here ! I was wondering if some of you could share your success stories with me to give me some motivation to achieve my goals. The first one is : running the half-marathon in Montreal on September 5th. So far, I manage to get to 11,6 km... Not bad (I think) but I'm starting to get a little sceptic... Any tips ? Do you think it's still possible ??

Thanks Andrew ! I also did a 10K race 2 years ago !! Last year, I got pretty sick and my doctor made me stop everything that was physically demanding. I really hope that I'll be able to add the 10 more km I need. I will take your advice, mainly the "slow" part. I think I wanted to go too fast in the last days and I now have a groin pain... grrrr... Good luck with your 50K in 3 weeks ! That's awesome !!!

slow and steady. i started two years ago with a ten k race then a half then a full now a ultra 50 k in 3 weeks.just keep it fun. and smile. good luck in your journey.
