share. learn. thrive!

Heidi – our butt-kicking shipping expert – makes sure all your Canadian shipments get out the door accurately and on-time.

What brought you to work at Sequel Naturals?
I actually started at Sequel because they needed some extra help in the shipping department. There was only one employee at the time and I came in to lend a hand as a side job. But then the company kept growing and ended up staying on full-time.

How long have you worked at Sequel?
Started two and half years ago!

What does a typical work day look like?
Get my coffee, turn on the music and pack away…

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I get to work with a bunch of cool guys. I’m the only girl, which means there’s no drama…most of the time! We all get along great and I believe we have a strong operations team.

What do you consider your personal best?
I don’t know if I’ve reached it yet. But for now, probably winning the BC Featherweight Muay Thai title. But I’m not satisfied yet. I want the Canadian title too!

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon?
I teach a Saturday kickboxing/sparring class for girls only out of the gym I train at. Then I take a fighter’s class myself which takes up most of the afternoon. Then go out to eat and maybe catch a movie.

What is your favorite vegetarian treat?
Vanilla chai Vega!

What is your favorite way to stay active?
Mixed martial arts

If you could live anywhere in the world, it would be…
Somewhere HOT! Maybe Hawaii or California.

You look fabulous! I love kickboxing, thinking about one day teaching it as well.

I think Heidi is saying there's less drama with guys... "guy drama" burns out way faster, because, as the saying goes, "if you want to understand what a man MEANS when he's talking, grab a dictionary". For women, it's all about insinuation. A tone, underhanded meanings, a raised eyebrow. Girl drama can stew for months...years...
