I keep a Gratitude Journal, which means..... every night before I go to bed I write down 5 things I'm grateful for. It can be anything big or small.  The idea is that no matter how bad a day you have, you find 5 things to be grateful for.  On an especially bad day it might be as simple as having a bed to sleep in, which in many parts of the world is no small thing at all.

 

I helps you put a positive spin on every day, even the bad ones and you go to bed with positive thoughts.  I learned about this from a book years ago and have been doing it ever since.  It also supports the theory that the more you are grateful for something the more of it you will attract into your life.
