I have been eating Vegan/and about 95% raw since Jan 1 2011. I learn a little at a time. Currently, most of my diet is liquid.
I am loving juicing! I juice everything...almost. I noticed that spinach, romaine and kale produce less juice. I continue to juice kale...but I have been making my shakes with spinach so I might get more out of it...and just use romaine for salads. Is this silly...or am I doing a good thing.
ALSO, I don't love the lemon in the juice, so I use a small orange instead. Is there anything wrong with doing that?
I have been using powdered protein too. I love pea protein best. It is not raw though. After reading China Study, Engine2Engine and watching Forks Over Knives...I am thinking that I may get enough protein without it. Brendan Brazier uses hemp and rice protein, I don't love those and would rather go without, especially the rice...Are there any opinions on this?
