share. learn. thrive!

Wow. What can I say? Thrive in 30 helped launch me into my journey of a plant-based diet. For me, I knew I wanted to make a change, but I didn't know where to begin. I did know that laying the foundation properly is key to being successful and the educational emails as well as lesson re-caps have given me a working knowledge and a great base. Is it bad for me to reveal that I once held a sarcastic view of vegetarians? I now of course have learned how positively life changing and altering it can be, but there was a time when I mocked the very idea of vegetarianism. In life's funny little way of paying me back, I now face jibs and jabs about my conversion from family and friends, and what I've come to realize is that a plant-based diet is a foreign idea to most until one personally gets tired of being unhealthy. Medical experts agree that many diseases are linked to our digestive system, and that is eye-opening and ultimately one of the reasons as to why I decided to make a change to a plant-based diet. I appreciate Brendan's openness and for the way his talks made me know that I can do this and that eating a plant-based diet is not confusing and it's attainable. Thank you so much.

Awesome - I too am finding the emotional/spiritual effects of a plant-based diet are far beyond my expectations.. like ones own journey to the tree of life. I too have found Brendan's personality inspiring. Thanks for adding your voice.
