I need information on competing. Using the Vegan diet. Every trainer I've had insists on me eating meat. Has anyone competed and gained muscle. Please let me know. Thank you, Kim

Hi Kim,

There is this great women named Pauline Nordin. She's ripped! I read here blog alot. Now she is very extreme, but there is some truth to her madness. She doesn't eat meat. However she eats ALOT ALOT of salmon. That's her main source of protein, other then that mostly just veggies. And carbs only on refeed days. If your trainers think you have to eat meat to be shredded, show them a picture of Pauline. Check out her section everyday pauline (she takes a pic of her condition everyday). I like that cuz normally in magazines we just see fitness pros after they've been dieting and training extra hard for months. Pauline is ripped all 365 days a year.
