Yoga for the Holidays - Part 2

Give yourself the gift of yoga. Start your day with this 10 minute yoga sequence and enjoy the benefits all day!



1. Breath of fire

Sit with a straight spine. Breathing though your nose exhale as you pull the navel in and relax your stomach muscles on the inhale. Pump you stomach in and out with your breath. Continue for about a minute. Breath of fire isn't recommended if you are pregnant or menstruating.

Detoxifies and energizes.

Yummy Dried Fruit and nut balls

This recipe is high in iron and fiber. Perfect healthy treat for the holidays.

Adapted from www.marketorganic.ca



3/4 cup pitted dates

1/4 raisins

1/4 cup pecans

1/4 cup rolled oats, not instant

1/4 cup cocoa or Carob powder
