Give your hips some TLC

Our hips get tight for different reasons such as sitting, stress and different sports. Hip flexors are a group of muscles that move the thigh forward and up. Running in the snow or ice may strain these muscles because of small repetitive slips.

2011 - Take a Leap!

Hanumanasana, Monkey pose or the yoga pose commonly known as the splits commemorates the giant leap made by Hanuman to reach the Lankan islands from the mainland of India.  He took this leap to save his master's wife. This courageous act symbolizes making the impossible possible. May 2011 be the year you take many leaps to make this your best year yet!
