So we’ve officially rolled into February, and where you are at with those health and wellness goals for 2013? It’s traditionally around this time that we start to let go of the motivation we had at the New Year, only a month ago.
How can you keep the motivation going? I know for me, it’s all in the scheduling and planning ahead.
1. PLAN AHEAD: I do my grocery shopping for the week on Mondays (after a killer Spin class). So Sunday nights, I take stock of the…

I have a question, hoping someone replies!
I work out 5-6 times out of the week mainly running but am going to include more strength training. I can’t decide between the vega sport or the vega health optimizer. The vega sport has more protein per calorie ratio. But the vega health optimizer has some good vitamins and minerals, like the maca, chlorella, ect (which right now I am trying to balance hormones and need maca). I know in the Vega Optimum Performance books he talks about not…

Got inspired the other day with Brendan's suggestion to use Vega Sport Endurance Gel as pre-workout alternative.
My quick glycogen loading morning snack before workout:
*organic whole rice & spelt cakes
*raspberry Vega Sport Endurance gel (just like a fruit spread)
*crushed raw walnuts
This and some jasmine green tea, and I am ready to hit the gym!…

He speaks of three different strengths, physical, mental and…

I broke away from my usual breakfast tradition to experiment with some Vanilla Chai Complete Whole Food Health Optimizer. I came up with this energy boosting concoction.

Overnight soak:
1 cup dry oatmeal (you can also use a dry muesli mix)
2 1/2 cups of vanilla rooibos tea (you can use another liquid)
In the morning, stir in:
1 apple finely chopped
heaping tablespoon of ground flax…

I was reading a blog that I really enjoy today, www.lovelyandimperfect.squarspace.com and she was asking what we enjoy about spring. My response just came flowing out. I’m ready for spring. I love spring! Not too hot, not too cold. I can’t wait to take my journal back out to the patio while sipping on coffee. Can’t wait for all my flowers to start to bloom again, such an array of color. I just love spring. The beautiful warmer days…

Improvements and results happen when you do things often.
Stopping and starting all the time will kill all momentum needed to succeed on your quest to six pack abs.
You can have the perfect exercise routine, the best personal trainer or the latest and hottest piece of equipment ...BUT... unless you are consistent - none of the above is going to help you achieve your goals.

This story is short, simple and straightforward.

I put off reading it as I knew that if it laid out a compelling argument I'd have little choice but to follow the path of logic, reason and compassion straight into becoming a vegan. With much amazement John's book helped me to rapidly understand why and how being a vegan is great for myself, animals,…
