It's no secret, brussels sprouts have a bad rep. Speaking as someone who has never before brought this unsought-after vegetable into my home, I decided to take a chance on this recipe I found online. But if I'm really being honest, the vinaigrette sounded delicious and so I thought it was possible the dressing could give them a fighting chance. The result? Unexpected success and so I am recommending it to you all today. That is, if you haven't yet made up your mind about this little green…

When I was 16yrs old I decided I no longer wanted to eat red meat or pork. When I was around 19yrs old I stopped eating chicken. Around 20yrs old I stopped eating turkey. Around 27yrs old I stopped eating fish.
I had always expected that I would eventually cut out some more things and maybe eventually even go so far as becoming vegan.
Last year I started to get really frustrated with stomach pains and bloating. I went to see a gastroenterologist who sent me for scopes which…

Today is less than 2 weeks to my first sprint triathlon in Key West, Florida.
How did I get here??
My regular type of exercise consists of running. All distances of running - shorter (5 km, 10 km), longer (21 km and full marathons) and even Ultra's. I have been running since 1999.
Two years ago, I started getting injuries.
The first injury happened when I was doing the Great Canadian DeathRace in Grand Cache, Alberta, which is a 125 km…

Hi, so i'm now starting to prepare myself for Red Bull Crashed Ice 2012. The first stop is in St. Paul Minnesota, its the first time crashed ice has ventured across the border. I'm currently ranked 32nd in the world as of the 2011 stats. I only raced one out of the 4 races last year but i placed in the top 16 and was able to maintain at the top of the pack. January 13 is the first race and i'm expecting a tough and fast track. If i keep in the top 32 then i go to the next race in Aare…
