I am sooo disappointed with the new supplemental facts.

Biotin has essentially disappeared.  Macca way down.  The information on proportion of omega 3 to omega 6 is no longer available.

Not to mention the simple fact that there is no difference between having 100% RDA of all vitamins in the old 2 scoops vs 50% in the new 1 scoop (and the new size of the scooper is larger than the old scooper).  The math is essentially the same on nutrients with a significant downgrade in…

Quick Update

WOW was life ever easier when I all I had to was run and talk. Now I have to work!! I like my job. I will keep my eyes open for something a little more financialy secure but for now I am not just trying to budget the new work…

Vital Nutrients for Nascent Teen Superstars

Higher intakes of protein and energy are advocated for growth in the adolescent population, by the Institute of Medicine.  Most micronutrient recommendations for adults are the same; however, exceptions are made for specific minerals needed for bone growth, repair, and maintenance (e.g. calcium, magnesium, phosphorous).  These recommendations are controversial in part due to the lack of attestation that higher intakes are an absolute necessity for bone growth.  Respectively,…
