i live my life by these two philosophies. they speak volumes to me.
from junk food junkie to vegetarianism to strict vegetarianism to flirting with veganism, raw foods and the 80/10/10 diet, i've learned so much about health and nutrition, allowing me to better my eating habits and relationship with food along the way.
at the moment, i eat a predominantly plant-based, gluten-free whole foods diet (with the occasional egg whites and fish), trying to incorporate a healthy balance of both cooked and raw foods as much as possible.
i love trying new foods! listening to my body and figuring out what works and doesn't work for me does drive me nuts sometimes.
i'm a die-hard tea aficionado (vanilla rooibos = <3) and enjoy the occasional cup of coffee too.
i adore fruit - especially cherries, figs, honeydew melon and fresh barhi dates!
also obsessed with roasted veggies (hello roasted brussels sprouts with garlic and rosemary!!!), kombucha with chia seeds (satisfies my boba tea with tapioca cravings!), oven-baked sweet potato fries with cinnamon (mmm), salads (combinations are endless!!) and of course sushi, surprise surprise.
