Favorite Vega Product: I am looking for a protein supplement to take as I go thru bariatric surgery

How did you discover Vega?: I became a vegan in February of this year. It has been a great decision for me. I am morbidly obese and getting ready to have weight loss surgery. I have to take protein supplements and want to make sure that they do not have any any animal products. I found Vega at one of the local health grocery stores. I bought two packages to try and really like them. I am just a little concern about the cost as I will need to take supplementation for pretty much the rest of my life.

Tell us a little more about yourself: I am 39 years old, Latina mother of two, a 17 year old girl and a 5year old boy. I am married and live in Upstate NY. I am making changes in my life to improve my health and have a better quality of life. I am involved in causes related to social justice and love to get involved in creative projects. Recently I became vegan for ethical and health reasons. I sat a goal to try being a vegan for a month and then it became a habit. I also stopped drinking so much coffee. Now I am getting ready to have weight loss surgery, the vertical gastric sleeve. Through the years I have dieted, exercised and lost a lot of weight, only to regain most of it and even more. I am having this surgery to help me make these lifestyle changes as permanent as possible. I still will have to watch what I eat and exercise but I will have a tool to help me be on track. Thanks so much. I love your product and it deifinitely aligns with my values. I am considering using it for my proteing supplementation during my pre and post operation.
