Favorite Vega Product
Whole food health optimizer - Berry, or Chai. Sport Protein Vanilla is a close second.
How did you discover Vega?
After being a vegetarian for 5 years and a competitive speedboarder and distance longboarder. I was looking for a way to optimize my diet for endurance. I found the thrive diet book and after following Brendan's principles I felt better than I ever had in my entire life and I was performing better than ever, in less time! Its now been 3.5 years and Vega is an even bigger part of my diet.
Tell us a little more about yourself
Currently I am the highest ranked racer in the longboard push race world. (IDSA and Adrenalina)! world record holder for most distance skateboarded in 24 hours on flat land!
I'm a father of a beautiful 5 year old girl.
I started two non profits, summer camp programs, and numerous large scale events with in my sport and now I enjoy traveling to make my competitions and doing large tours of foreign lands.
I enjoy all types of longboarding and skating, running, observed trials cycling, rock climbing, light mountaineering, scrambling, writing and performing music on guitar, keyboard, drums or bass. I also have a keen interest in sports physiology, nutrition and using a vegetarian diet to do my favorite activities better than I could if I ate animal products.

I am falling in love with you all, watching your long treks episodes.  You are all inspiring me to get out of the country and go long and far.  Befriend me with any advice.  It seems having a few sponcers helps too.

It was great to meet you. Hopefully we will cross paths again soon. What a great turn out for the event. And I am always keen to chat orienteering!

I'd love to put "do it" below the CAN . . . A little bit Nike though, no?

The suit in the photo is made by Kiwami (http://www.kiwami.ca/). The suit below is by champion systems. Both do one off printing for elite triathletes, and may do so for other athletes. I also took one of the suits to a local printers who did a one off job for me to put a sponsor logo on my newest suit. Usually people are helpful for athletes they know are serious. Need a race suit?

Your article was posted on facebook and I have been interested in your die hard connection to longboarding since I found out about your "Long Trek". I am a city rider and always practicing my push, only time I train is when i ride, but I want to start building more power and distance _ so i figure whatever you do won't hurt! Do you use this product? What has it done for you...unless you are trying to keep your title of longest 24 hr skate !

Shake and Go Smoothie! - Shake it like a Polaroid Picture!

Vega's newest product, Shake and go smoothie, is proving itself to be rather formidable as both as tasty treat and a healthy, blended superfood beverage. It has quickly become one of my favorite snacks because (In my opinion) this newest offering from Vega is their best tasting product to date. In fact it tastes so good, my wife and three year old daughter drink it…

"How I went Pro" - food for thought.

For me and for most people going pro isn't as easy as winning races or scoring high. I've tried that for a while and even though it is needed, in smaller sports it's just not enough! I am a "pro" or full time Speedboarder and distance longboarder. I have the world record for the longest distance skated in 24 hours (on an injured leg to boot) and I have been winning nearly every distance race on longboards that I attend. However in the highly competitive and under funded sport of… Continue
