I'm am going to embark on a Vegan Healthy Lifestyle starting in September 2011. Exact date I"m not sure yet. I run my own fitness and nutrition business and am looking to compete as a Vegan Figure Competitor in 2012. I want to be a role model and example for those in the fitness business and muscle building community that you can be lean, strong, sexy and muscular on vegetables and vegetable protein. I want to educate and inspire others to adopt a more vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. One persons influence and inspiration can be a catalyst for so much change... we must band together for our animals, our environment and our own health.
I look forward to learning from this website and trying all the different VEGA products.

Hi Nikki, I would like your advice on what you think is a great way to become lean and strong. I have been taking Vega for a couple weeks now along with the Udo's DHA oil. I feel my appetite is getting a lot better and I am fuller longer. Any thing else I can do or am suppose to be doing at this time? I am also working out at home for an hour or more every second day. I am not a vegetarian and havent really planned to be at this time. I am a mother of 2 so I am not sure if i can even incorporate that at this time. I dopnt know much about proteins, vitamins, shake etc..so I am looking for someone that knows what they are talking about to help me reach my goals. Also I am almost done my Vega container..any idea what I should do next? I thank you so much for your help..and any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks for your comments. I'm starting the "Thrive in 30" this weekend (once I've been shopping for some of the basic ingredients) . I have just received a tub of the Health Optimizer and am waiting for some energy bars to arrive tomorrow or Saturday -- then I can get going. I'll probably be using recipes from the Thrive Diet more than the products as it's hard to get VEGA products here in the UK -- seems to be online only and pretty pricey (e.g. the equivalent of $95 for the health optimiser).
Not sure I will go vegan -- I am a strict vegetarian but do eat free range eggs, yoghurt and a little cheese and milk. It would be the eggs I'd find most difficult to forego I think, but will see how it pans out.
I really want to get lean as I've put on a few pounds which I'm finding hard to shift. I want to be a role model for my clients too -- to show that you can be fit, lean, strong and energetic through a natural vegetarian diet. Too many folk here live on high carb, highly processed foods and are suffering as a result.
I'm looking forward to being part of this community and hope that VEGA products become more available in the UK at prices comparable to those in Canada and the US.
