Found Thrive Diet on sale and started reading it right away -- I couldn't put it down. I discovered that week at a local health food store week Brendan was in town for a seminar so I went. I just tried random recipes and the more I tried the more my tastes changed until I was following thrive automatically.
Tell us a little more about yourself
I'm a mother of two little boys 2 and 3 years old. Before I had them I was following thrive but meeting someone who eats so differently makes it really hard to keep it up. I remember fast recovery from running/lifting weights/dragonboating, strength and stamina gains were relatively quick, the strong desire to run (especially on the beach), milk chocolate was sickeningly sweet and I had no health problems.
Right now I'm working on calibrating my tastebuds and my kids are loving the recipes I'm making from the books -- especially my 2 year old.
Right now finishing my practical nursing program consumes most of my time but I also enjoy making inspirational collages, knitting, drawing, traveling, almost anything to do with water, trying new things and self improvement.
