How did you discover Vega?
I was looking for an electrolyte and calorie replacement drink that wouldn't upset my stomach or give me muscle cramps when training or racing in triathlon and trail running.
Tell us a little more about yourself
As an endurance athlete and coach, optimized nutrition and recovery are of the utmost importance to me. I train hard and demand a lot from my body; so I became ecstatic when I finally found Vega! Vega provides me with the highest quality products that allow me to race and train for over 10 hours (at a time) without muscle cramps, digestive issues or blood glucose related fatigue. I found Vega Sport (Acai Berry) in 2009 when I was training for Ironman Canada and now I would never train or race any endurance event without it.
Being wheat and dairy intolerant, it is difficult to find whole food supplements that you can rely on for pre and post workouts, especially when you are on the go. The Vega Protein and Whole Food Health Optimizer (Vanilla Chai all the way!) provides me with the perfect balance of protein and carbohydrates to ensure a quick recovery so I can do it all over again the next day!
Thank you Vega for making me life so much simpler! Go Vega go!

I had three reasons for…

West Side Classic Road Race Report

I must be honest here and admit that the only reason I did this race was because I was given a free entry.  I still have (had?) a very healthy fear of the unknown when it comes to Road Racing and that fear was enough to convince myself that I needed more time to prepare.  But with the free entry, I figured that it would be a good experience and something I could use to help my clients if they should chose to road race in the future.  I went in with lots of nervous energy and no real game…

Live Strong ride in Mt Hood!

http://www.echelongranfondo.org/

This is a fantastic ride helping raise money for Live Strong (cancer research). It is also a beautiful way to spend my 35th birthday!

Hey Kris,

Welcome to the team and welcome to the forum. I haven't been out to Vancouver since I left in 2006. I am hoping to get back in '11, see you then!

Great to see you too and "Thank you" for the gift! Vanilla Chai HO all the way with frozen banana and cocao nibs and I could live just on that alone.

Welcome to the team!

Nathane
