Thanks for posting this. Agave has come under the gun recently in certain articles that I've read. Your distinction is definitely not highlighted in these articles, as they are mostly written from the perspective of general consumption. Good to know.
I switched from a Brita filter because it took out too many precious minerals and I also had to rely on a change in the tast of water to keep changing filters.
My family and I have found Monashee Spring Water in Calgary who supply home delivered spr…
Thanks for discussing this Brendan. I had been wondering the same thing for quite a while. In March I made the decision to abstain from alcohol consumption completely, not necessarily knowing the in's and out's of the acidity of wine and beer, but m…
Jay--Your story is incredibly inspiring. I am working with my mother to help her drop weight using wholefood nutrition. She's already shedding pounds a few in. And I am working myself to gain weight, as I've always been too skinny--I just posted som…
Oh okay, thanks for the information, I had no idea that Brendans recipes in the book I have were somewhat outdated in certain aspects. I'll definitely make some revisions.
Hey Carl,
So soy is a product you want to avoid, except in condiment form (miso, natto, shoyu) in very small quantities. Tempeh is slightly more digestible so that might be a good option. The recovery pudding you cited is from Brendan's early years…
Seed & Native Foods were awesome. Great food and wonderful people. Thanks again. Between you n Whitney Lauritsen's suggestions - we had a blast. Sent Whitney a message that next time we're in L.A. we all have to plan a meet-up. Thanks again. God Bless You.
It was so cool when I saw your name mentioned on twitter by ecovegangal Whitney. Then I saw the mag published. It only had your first name, but I knew it was you. The food at VegNews must've been awesome. Awesome! See you around the social network.
I'm having fun and doing pretty good. Finishing up my Thrive book. In the second phase of my nutrition class. Did you hear of that class? It's through e-cornell. I found it through Brendan's site. It's a biochemical nutrition class. I just wanted to understand the lifestyle I'm getting to live you know?
People like you posting your journey help tremendously. Your videos make this an adventure full of fun. I have to go and watch your videos one by one. I told our son about it, maybe he'll watch and join...let you know what happens.
Good for you. Your Day 13 video cracked me up. I have to show my son and husband. My fave parts are dog weights and you and your niece dancing. Living life out loud. Good for you.
Thanks for your comment and encouragement. My favorite is vega original as well. Next, I really want to try the bars. Shakes and bars come in handy when it's hard to have a full meal. I'm so excited to have so many resources. My husband is signing up for Thrive in 30 today so he can understand a little more about my new lifestyle. He's been eating with me and lost some weight. He loves the food.
