Celebrating Slow Food's International Terra Madre day with Haute to Go Catering!

I have been a Vegan now for just over two years and even though it has been a bumping road for my social and career aspirations the universe has aligned me with souls that reflect my desire to respect the earth with ethical and holistic nutritional goals. I am now the marketing and media adviser for Haute to Go catering and food services. Haute to Go is the first catering service in the region that has it's primary menu built upon 100% Organic Ethical Trade Practices. Our most recent…

The Lost History of Chlorella

History has always been a huge interest for me and like any strong interest I have, I work to learn more than I knew yesterday to improve my sit on earth.

Today's history discovery is sponsored by a DVD RENTAL called "Ancient Aliens" from none other than the HISTORY CHANNEL.

On the first DVD we find the first Episode "The Evidence" in this enlightening viewing we find out how far we yet to go compared to ancient times. However, it also points…

New Year Resolutions are a Challenge to keep for Everyone!

New Year Resolutions are a Challenge to keep for everyone because we are all human living in a less than ideal world. The majority of Modern Civilization believes time is linear and not cyclic. Which is the apposite of Ancient observations. This being said we ALL have to understand that each and everyone of us has a different New Year and this new year actually starts on our individual birthday. Each year we gradualate from one year to the next.

Why do we celebrate the New Year when… Continue

Modern Days of Noah

In the early months of 2009 I noticed that my weight had climbed to an all time high of 220 pounds and it was hardly all muscle mass. I looked in the mirror and refuse to believe it was all down hill from here... In 2005 I began to use Vega as a daily supplement however I dropped off from using it because of all the gas I was experienced in the first 3 months. I did not know better at the time to use it as only part of my smoothie.

At some point between April and May 2009 I… Continue

Thanks for commenting. It's nice to hear other opinions. I have had huge success on this cleanse. I properly prepare as well, have you read The Complete Master Cleanse by Tom Woloshyn? It helped me really understand how it works and it's benefits. I have done it twice already and felt amazing. I will take all of your suggestions into consideration though, Thanks! :)

Johno, in terms of going raw...balance is the key. Going 100% raw all at once is craziness. You're body will be like, 'what?!'. Go slow. And I definitely recommend you get a full blood test from your Naturopath. You need to find out if you have any vitamin/mineral deficiencies, essential oil deficiencies, protein deficiencies, etc. This way you'll have a better idea how to shape your raw food menus.
If you ever need any help I have been counselling clients for 8 years and would more than happy to get you to your goal (although it seems like you're doing pretty well by yourself).
Have a super duper day!
