I recently read "The China Study..." and came away feeling that there was no other intelligent and conscious alternative than to embrace a vegan lifestyle (for my wellbeing, to set a good example for my kids, and for the wellbeing of the planet). It's only been 3 months: and even though I think I eat more now, I've lost 12 lbs. (without trying) and feel fantastic. I did Insanity the last couple months and am now doing P90X again (it's been over 3 years since I last did it); and my goal of becoming one of the "really/really" fit 50 year old guys might just be within my grasp; although I don't live too far from Boulder, CO (the place with more uber fit 50 year old guys than any other place on earth).
