I have only had the chance to sample the Smoothie infusion
How did you discover Vega?
A friend lent me the Thrive Diet book and a small sample of the smoothie infusion. I then investigated further to find this website....I have so many questions and hoping I can get some advise/tips
Tell us a little more about yourself
I have been involved in sport for most of my life. In the past 4 years I have participated in 2 marathons, 5 half ironman and 2 full ironman triathlons, plus a few extra bits and peices along the way. I love the long stuff and plan to continue with it. I have been vegetarian for 2 years and gradually have become vegan over the last 18months. I have been stuck when it comes to race nutrition as I don't like all the artificial sports drinks/gels etc. I am hoping I can find some answers here!!! I have also had problems with low bone density which means I am more likey to get stress fractures( this was evident before I became vegetarian) I also have high Iron from a genetic disorder which is a good thing being a vegan. I want to learn to get as many nutrients from natural, unprocessed food as I can. I also want to get rid of cravings for sweet food and get rid of binge eating habits when I am stressed!!!! I think the thrive diet may have the answer????
