Vegetarian since I was 18, vegan for the past 8-9 years or so. I am vegan for political, environment and philosophical/ethical reasons, but I am aware everyone has their own reasons and I just want to encourage everyone one to keep fightin' the fight!! So if I go off on some political diatribe or get on my soapbox just remember that's who I am! But don't worry I will never not listen to anyone and If I do disagree with someone I'll have a well researched rebuttal.

I am grateful that being a vegan mean's I get to eat a ton of great foods and meet some cool and interesting people along the way.

I noticed that the inflamatory value is high, so I need to look into the glueten of it. That's an issue for me.

Hello Dan, Thanks for the info. I have read some about Teff, however not as much as you found. Thats a great resourse page you passed on. Within Teff there is a number of minerals in that I have been looking for in unprocessed foods.

Hello Dan,

I need to grind rice. I use it as a thickner for my daughter as all her food needs to be pureed, but then in order to get the proper consistancy for making a bolus we use baby rice cereal which is very costly and probably does not compare to what we can provide for her. As far as the juicer, I want to juice as many vegetables as possible for the both of us to reduce the amount of energy needed for otherwise, i'm not eating a lot of fruit at this point so that's a mute point. I have looked on Craigslist but no luck yet.

I'm trying to find an excellent juicer that grinds grains for my family and expecially my daughter. The one I have wastes so much of what I juice. I have looked into the champion but the same thing happens with the fibre, I've been looking at the Vita mix, however it's very pricy but I would use it everyday. Would like to get some feedback on this.

Hello Dan, Thanks for noticing my garden. I'ts one of my favorite places to be. This year we are working on incorporationg square foot gardening into the mix. We built the frames last weekend. Their huge 4x12. Part of the idea is to help my daughter experience the gardening.
