- How did you discover Vega?
- I discovered Brendan Brazier's Thrive in 30 when I was doing a search on nutrition for vegan athletes. I tried the protein and got hooked when I discovered that it made soreness literally disappear!
- Tell us a little more about yourself
- I am a photographer and co-owner of Blood & Thunder roller derby magazine.
I started skating in 2003 with the L.A. Derby Dolls and my nomadic lifestyle has provided me with the opportunity to skate with several other leagues since. I founded the first league outside of the U.S., Auckland's Pirate City Rollers.
B&T is organizing the first Roller Derby World Cup in Toronto in December, which has me pulling my hair out at this moment, but it will be an awesome event and will hopefully be one more step towards legitimizing the sport of roller derby.
