So after 3 weeks, I met with my nutritionist for a follow up. We reviewed my paper work, and I"m now going to begin supplementing a few things in addition to what I"m already doing. Turns out I"m slightly hypoglycemic, which comes as no surprise as for years I was constantly cutting carbs and eating way too much meat protein. So, I'm going to slowly start re-introducing grains like quinoa, buckweat, sprouted wheat (still wheat free and gluten free). Looking forward to making stir fries…

So with the new year, I decided to do a little detoxing. WIth the help of my holistic nutritionist friend, I eliminated dairy (which I had already semi-eliminated, so no big deal), caffeine, sugar, wheat, alcohol and limited my meat intake. I'm not a vegan, like my meat, but see the benefits of restricting my consumption of it.
