share. learn. thrive!
When it comes to training, proper nutrition is as important as physical activity itself. Without the proper fuelling, your body simply cannot perform at its peak, ultimately derailing the efforts of training. While determination will get you going, nutrition is what dictates…

For years people have told me they feel amazing when they follow the nutritional principals in the Thrive book series. Many have been able to stop taking medication, lower cholesterol, reduce body fat, reduce sugar cravings, improve sleep quality and mental clarity and boost athletic performance.
But, in spite…

So far, the 3-part Strength Training for Endurance Athletes series has discussed common misconceptions about endurance athletes and weight lifting, how greater strength can improve endurance, and how building upper body strength can result in improved muscle efficacy. Since it is important to…

Compare two runners who are equal in all respects except for muscular strength and the stronger one will be faster over any distance. The lower percentage of maximum strength needed for each stride translates into greater muscle efficacy and therefore, greater endurance. If one runner can squat 10% more than another, his muscles won’t have to work as hard to move his body forward, resulting in significant endurance gains.
When muscles don’t have to work as…

Buying into the myth, runners neglected to lift weights because they thought it would add body-slowing bulk, yet we know now that greater strength will ultimately improve endurance. Sadly, this myth came to pass because strength training was being lumped into the bodybuilding culture; with bodybuilders lifting weights to get bigger, as well as for definition and physical symmetry.

Hi Brendan,
We have never met before, but first wanted to say thank you for the amazing products that you have formulated. I'm looking forward to meeting you one of these days. I live in Montreal. I just joined the Vega community not so long ago and found out that of your events speaking is here in Montreal on Tuesday, May 29th. I really, really wanted to attend, but unfortunately have a prior engagement at 7:30pm that day which you are speaking from 7-9pm, so would only be able to stay like 10min, which means that I would be missing most of the event. I was wondering if it's possible to put the event for Wednesday the 30th instead or even Thursday, or even have the time earlier like around 5:30pm? I would be bringing someone with me to the event and might have more people, especially if the event would be Wednesday the 30th. Is it possible to speak on both Wednesday and Tuesday? If not, is it possible to know when the next time you would be in Montreal? I would really love to come to the seminar. Thanks and have a great week-end!
50 miler, Rocky Roccoon. Couldn't have done it
without Vega and all the knowledge I have gained
from both your books. Thank you!
Your book the Thrive Diet completely changed my life! I have never felt better. I love your Vega products and can't wait to dive into my newest purchase, the Thrive Fitness book. Thanks so much!!!
Thanks for all the great work. I have greatly benefited from your book.
I was wondering, why doesn't VEGA sell larger tubs so that the consumer could save $$ and by buying larger quantities in the end I would use less bottles. Or even better why not sell bulk somehow?
But Thanks so Much!
While I am not an athlete, I have managed to change my lifestyle because of VEGA and keeping active. Have you thought about marketing to people recovering from ailments like diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis and major injuries?
Peace and Blessings!
