Hi Bobby, I can tell you from personal experience how much eating a diet of mainly fruit & green smoothies has repaired my hair. It is strong, thick, soft & shiny :) My mom has started eating more raw, because she saw these effects on me. Her hair…

Best to let your doc know that you are interested in how your diet is affecting your health/blood. Let her/him know that you want to check everything that might be relevant to someone with a vegetarian/vegan/raw diet. You will certainly be able to h…

You could try just baking the "crust" until its firm enough on both top and bottom then adding ingredients. Make sure the ingredients are not so wet they would penetrate the crust though.

Hey Bobby, Try this for the crust: 1 1/3 cup cooked grain (quinoa, millet, brown rice) 1 1/3 cup cooked legume (navy beans, lentils, chickpeas) 1/4 cup oil (olive or coconut or both) herbs (basil, oregano, etc.) to taste Mix in a food processor un…

Also, remember that Brendan explains that these recipes aren't really "pizza". It's just the best name he came up with for the dish. They tend to be more like a thinner casserole, in my opinion. Fork and knife needed!

About the Bob's Red Mill gluten free pizza crust, is it sugar free? So many of the gluten free products I find have sugar in them, of which I don't want.

2010 THRIVE MANIAC!

Hey all.

I spent the two months prior to the new year becoming familiar with many of the foods Thrive suggests, and easing into the recipes, as well as out of habits I've had my entire life. So far I have found it very manageable and I have started the new year on a full plant-based diet. I am a personal trainer and keep very fit, so I am very interested/excited to see what effects this all has on my body/performance. If Thrive can acheive the deliverance of energy and nutrition it describes, I… Continue

Hey Bobby
I volunteered for the first time after the major tsunami in sri lanka... i was traveling with i-to-i which is an organization out of Great Britain. They were okay... good thing was they offer an online course in certification to teach english as a foreign language.. bad thing is they are not a non profit. My second trip was Ethiopia, and that was on behalf of a man from here in Scottsdale Arziona who was making a very large donation to some schools in the South Omo River Valley... so that was done without an organization of any sort. Most recently I went to Mombasa Kenya with Global Crossroads. I love the place, the kids, and the host family but was very unhappy with the organization! Still searching for the right one. Looking into work with the International Rescue Committee now bc they have a base here in Phoenix. Have you done some similar work?

Hi Bobby,
I actually graduated from The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York. I did the full-time program, but they also have a part-time program that works really well if you have a current job. It's right in Chelsea and a ton of my classmates commuted from Jersey every day. Check it out! :)

Bobby,

There are many martial arts that will teach you the physical practice but so few that incorporate the spiritual path. It is the nature of the western practitioner to look for the quick sale and then develop a practice around that. In other words if people want the workout then the martial arts teacher will focus on that aspect to pay the bills. And so it is. You may look for Tai Chi teacher or Aikido teachers. Make sure you audit there classes first to see if what you seek is there. Note: if you ever want to train in Budokon go to my website www.budokon.com and look at the schedule of training weekends and come join us. Be well brother. KCS
