I've ordered my copy of Brendan's new book but it's going to take one to two weeks to arrive (I'm in the UK).   What are the recipes like?  I'm know there are collaborators this time so I'm looking…Continue

Me on British breakfast TV

Over in the UK, it's PMS Awareness Week and I've been busy promoting the benefits of a natural approach to balancing hormones.  Here I am on the sofa on the LORRAINE programme (she's not quite our version of Oprah - but not far off!).  Not sure how long the clip will be available for as they like to keep the website content 'fresh' so catch it while you can!

Maca for hormone balance - especially PMS

I've just written a blog post on my experience with maca for PMS, and this made me revisit some of the youtube videos.  This one by Peggy Kotsouplos also sings the praises of maca.  It's truly wonderful stuff! Shame it's not grown locally :-)

Why Plant-based foods are good for hormonal health

Hey guys (girls!),

I've just posted an article on PMS Warrior.com about the plant-based diet for PMS.

How is the Thrive Diet Affecting Your PMS?

Mild to moderate Premenstrual Syndrome - and the mood changes, irritability, clumsiness, weepiness, soreness, and bloating that go with it - is incredibly common, and goes on for years and years.

I'm convinced diet, environmental factors and the stress of modern life aggravate, making it an even greater pain in the backside.

I discovered The Thrive Diet two years ago and…

Ugh!  Ok, I'm in full force pms!  No matter how much I tell myself that I will make good choices, it's like I'm possessed or something.  I know, sounds strange but I have been eating SOOOO much junk!  Chocolate chips, honey roasted peanuts, big bowls of cereal.  *sigh*  It's a terrible terrible viscous cycle.  I really wish I could make it stop!  What do you think could help me?

Hi!  Well... struggling actually.  I don't know if the Thrive Diet is different than a vegan diet but I'm mostly vegan.  Sometimes dairy sneaks in but not much.  I'm working on it.  The only time I noticed that my PMS went completely away was when I followed the McDougall Diet, which is vegan but also eliminates refined oils.  I'm currently not doing that but I'd say my fat intake is still on the low side.  My hunger increases the week "before" and "during." I'm new to the Thrive Community so thanks for starting this group, I look forward to learning more here!

With love and sunshine,

Kimberly
