Hey Betsy...I play in the CIS league in Canada. This is my last year and then I am looking into playing pro in Europe or even Indonesia once I graduate. How did you get on to a team? What is the standard protocol? Do you have an agent? Hope all is w…

Totally agree Caleb. I've tried for years and can't fall asleep on my back either. Stephanie, can you help us out with some suggestions to change our lifelong habit?

I am a recreational volleyball player. Kind of like your average joe that can hold his/her own in an advanced/competitive level, but not exceptionally skilled. I have more love for the sport than I do skills. Lol. I most often take on the setter pos…

Awesome, Rob!!! I used to love arm wrestling! When I was in junior high, I used to beat all the boys...well, at least until they hit puberty :) I love that there are competitive vegans in every athletic discipline! Vegans represent!

Rachel, I'm pretty sure there's no supplier in France. I always stock up when I'm in the US (I usually go during the summer and around Christmas) and lug it all back to France in my bags. Kind of a pain, but what can you do?

I've been dabbling in a raw diet for the past year or so. I did 100% raw (with Vega Whole Food Optimizer as well) for the month of last January, during my volleyball season, and I though I didn't experience and increase in energy or better sleep lik…

So, I'm back in France after spending the off-season in the US playing a lot of beach volleyball (I have to be playing the sport in some form or another all year-round...haha). I'm playing for the same team as last year, and we just had our first ma…

World Vegan Month, November 2009

November 1st marks the beginning of Wold Vegan Month and whether you are a long-time vegan, just starting out or still only thinking about giving up animal products, this is a great time to reflect, research and reach out. Here are some of my tips on ways to celebrate World Vegan Month.

Things everyone can do:

* Post links to WorldVeganDay.org on your social networking profiles such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc., or on your blog.

* Invite friends/family/coworkers over for a vegan meal o… Continue

Thanks Betsy. My volleyball experiences are quite limited, I'm afraid, but I'm a big fan of the sport and would like to get more involved.
