Veganism and Eating Disorders - Common misconceptions and Ideas
4 Replies

There seems to be a rumor going around that Veganism is a dietary 'problem' and is co-related to having, or once having an eating disorder.  There are some people that I have noticed that seem to…Continue

Favorite Vega Product
I don't have a favourite! I love them all!
How did you discover Vega?
I discovered it through VegNews Magazine, my Mother whom is an EAMP decided she wanted to try it and maybe incorporate it into her business, and it all went uphill from there!
Tell us a little more about yourself
I am a thoughtful person, a Vegan, an Animal and Human Liberator - I am love, and I constantly strive to broaden my mind and horizons as well as my life. I live on a small Vegan farm where animals are rescued from sometimes impossible situations and rehabilitated. I am a nutrition crazed type of gal, who smiles at the thought of apples dipped in raw Tahini and pumpkin seeds. The sun is my bud, and I may try my life out in California at some point where I shall continue along my merry way, pulling human animals, and non-human animals out of situations they need not be in. I'll continue to be athletic, climbing rocks and running on beaches... Life is so wonderful.

Hey Aubrie, I actually do make my own beer and recently as my experience has allowed me I make it from scratch now, making my own mash or "wort" even roasting it my self to make a dark beer or stout. Now I am using fresh hops which my mother has grown for me and organic locally grown grains. previous to this change it was costing me approx 1.50 per gallon of high quality lager, now with the time and effort of finding only local products and fresh ingrdients the cost has only increased to 2-2.50 per gallon still very cheap, especially here in Canada where a case of 12 beer of my commerical favorite is 21.00. It is very enjoyable to experiment with. In the summer time I make a wheat beer with lemon zest which I have to hide from my mother and girlfriend or it dissappers and during the winter months on the first fermenting process I throw a couple chai flavored tea bags into the mix and create a winter warmer beer and bump the sugar content up to increase the alcohol content to 7%.......really warms you up!! hahaha
