Between work, chores and training for our next marathon, setting aside time for ourselves to think, reflect and simply be present is easily tossed to the bottom of our on-going “list.” Over time, holding ourselves to these demanding schedules can be quite taxing on our spirit and may even work against us - even hold us back from achieving our goals.
This month, we want initiate some spiritual spring
cleaning, to feng shui our minds. The first step is to understand
that what we think about, matters. Ask yourself, if our mind is
cluttered, is it possible that we cannot then operate at maximum
capacity?
Since our thoughts have a significant
impact on our energy, we want to de-clutter and free our minds to
attract vitality and happiness with ease.

Success, friends!

I try to make time in my day, even just a minute, for quiet.
Comment by Dréa Drury on March 3, 2011 at 10:20am How I Attract Vitality:
First thing in the morning I focus in on my breath, making sure that I'm connecting it to all parts of my body. This sets up a clear reference point for the rest of my day, so whenever I'm feeling off balance or stressed, I come back to the breath - reminding myself that whatever I'm feeling now "too shall pass." Everything is impermanent.
The next thing that I do early in the morning is chant the "Gayatri" mantra, followed by a yoga sequence which allows me to fully enter into the consciousness of my body.
