My 2011 season was cut short by a broken foot, so in 2012 I'm planning to come back with a vengeance doing at least one trail run, one triathlon, one road race, and a 4 km swimming race in Lake Ontario. I started using the new Vega Sport system pretty much as soon as it came out; the short recovery time it helps provide is a large part of how I plan to meet these goals.
Comment by Amer Ahmed on December 5, 2011 at 10:57am I just began using Vega products a few months ago. Shortly before that I started working out and went gluten free. I've already started to see great results but I definitely feel like I just started. My goal for the upcoming year is to trim down more and continue to get healthier by consistently working out, taking Vega Wholefood optimizer every day, eating a healthy gluten free diet, and reducing my meat intake. I also want to get a personal trainer to support my efforts to get in really great shape. My goal is for what I've done so far to be just the beginning.
Comment by Emily on December 5, 2011 at 9:07am While I'm healthier than I've ever been before I need to ramp it up. I plan to add a weight lifting component to my workouts. I'm anticipating this will make my yoga practice more rewarding, want to be able to do a full crow pose this year. Continue with my vegan diet I started last summer!
Comment by Miriam Wilcox-Barsalou on December 5, 2011 at 3:43am My 2012 fitness goal is to run 12 1/2 marathons in 2012. Therefore making sure I make the best of my recoveries is absolutely key. I plan on continuing to improve my nutrition including including more protein into my plant based diet.
Comment by Mikayla Moore on December 4, 2011 at 9:19pm My goal for 2012 is to register and finish my first Triathlon. Also several running races and cycling events, which I have done prior. I wish to become a faster and stronger cyclist utilizing Vega!

I will need to utilize many the vega sports line to assist in my training and also use many other vega products so that i can get stronger.

Comment by Mary Gouthro on December 4, 2011 at 10:35am My goal is to get healthier. It is very general yes-but I need to lose the layer of fat that I have, gain more confidence, and feel happier with myself. I am coming off of an injury and have used it as a crutch to slack off. I got on the treadmill today and was gasping for breath at .5 miles. This will change.
Comment by Marc Antoine De Rosa on December 4, 2011 at 6:51am My goal is to keep up Cycling to School as the weather gets colder and to do 120 push ups every morning before breakfast, and to keep my activity level up even during Christmas break, when I don't have to bike to school. For over Christmas break, I plan to use the extra time to try some new activities and do some old ones, like skating, cross country skiing and snowboarding. To keep biking to school I'm going to keep taking WFHO for faster recovery and I'm going to adjust my clothing so that I don't sweat so much and I'll go back to eating only when I'm hungry and not because of my emotions.
Comment by Anne de Champlain on December 3, 2011 at 11:31pm My training goal for 2012 is to find a better balance, refine my trainings to train more effectively, rest appropriately, find the best balance in my diet and manage to recover more fully from my training routines. I have a strong will and can will myself to do anything which at times means I don't always listen to my body.
Comment by Jennifer Muir on December 3, 2011 at 9:02pm I am determined to make running and yoga part of my daily routine. I need to learn to plan work-outs in advance so that i am less likely to talk myself out of it. So far my goal of eating healthier (and more vegetarian/vegan) has gone great. Still need to plan more to make the work-outs a routine.
Comment by Amy Bielawski on December 3, 2011 at 1:30pm My training goal for 2012 will be to work out at least 4 times a week. Lowering my body fat, sculpting lean muscle and dropping the last dreaded 10 lbs. More juices, less dairy.
Comment by Brittany Trentham on December 3, 2011 at 10:32am I have a goal of training for my second half marathon and focusing more on strength training rather than just cardio.
Comment by Robyn Hurst on December 3, 2011 at 10:10am I want to lower my body fat percentage by 5 % and be able to run a 5k...also, I have a goal of being able to wear a certain two-piece dress by January 15th, and if not, then by Valentine's Day..and I am almost there! I will continue eating healthily and enjoying treats only moderately, and exercising with cardio 3 times a week and yoga or strength training 3 times per week...

Comment by BethanyF on December 2, 2011 at 6:44pm My training goals for 2012 are a bunch more 5Ks, and work myself up to at least one 5 miler and one 10K. I will be using to couch to 10K plan, hopefully. I need to incorporate strength training, too. And I hope to buy a bike in the spring!
