Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites where you can log daily food journals that other folks have access to. I used to track my food on Sparkpeople.com, but no one sees that but me, so there's no accountability. Anyone have any suggestions?

I eat healthy 98% of the time, but then binge on sweets almost every night, which thwarts all my great effort. Anyone have any luck with using vega products to curb an after-dinner sweet tooth?

Hi! I just joined the group and I have about 40 lbs to lose and would love to do it by my 40th birthday which is in May this year. Is that too steep a hill to climb? I don't know! But I am really excited to see that there are others here who are facing similar challenges and that I am not alone. Thanks to you all, in advance!

Hey Fellow vega weight loss enthusiasts! Since Oct of 2008 to Christmas I had lost about 15 lbs. Then over the holidays I gained it back....then not too long thereafter I lost the 15 lbs again! So I was happy about that. Throughout 2009 I continued to slowly loose weight just by drinking 8 glasses of water, what and how I was eating. Just did walking and no exercise or gym membership.

In 2009 I lost about 40 lbs...my goal slow and steady. Then Oct 2009 - January 2010 I gained about 20 lbs! I fell off the wagon! I'm not too worried now because I just need to get back on track and stay focused for my goal! Ideally I would like to loose about 70 lbs, I'm currently 219 lbs and 5'7".

I'd like to join the gym and get a personal trainer too, but it's all very expensive right now due to my financial situation! I hope that 2010 will bring some positive changes for me!

Oh I am also trying to loose 1-2 lbs every week...so it I stay on track of 1 lbs ideally by the end of 2010 I would weight 167 lbs! If I focus on 2 lbs a week then my goal would be attained in about 9 months! Lets just say that January is a slow start month so I am hoping to be fully focused and motivated starting February.

I also have to break the habit of eating in the evenings but it is hard to do with the schedule I have! I notice though that because I eat later I am not hungry in the morning and don't start to feel hungry until late in the afternoon.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

In support of healthily loosing permanent weight,
Steve

Thomas,
I haven't lost 101 pounds. I probably need to though. I think you have me mixed up with Shannon's post. Good luck everybody with your weight loss goals. I know you can do it.

Hi everybody I am 31 years old and I have been overweight for 29 years . I have lost 50 lb over a year and keeping it since. I have few advice for you , things that really helped me I think might help anybody.
Never start on a diet that you know that you can't keep up for the rest of your life . I think we all been at the yo-yo diet they don't work , I have been dieting for good 20 years it didn't do much good for me. All I did 3 years ago changed my lifestyle , changed bad habits to good ones , good nutrition , physical exercise and a good night sleep. I started as something I had to do to loose weight and be healthy but now it is something I want to do , I love to do and I will keep to do to the rest of my life. The way I feel and look today far more out weights the effort that I put in, words can't describe the difference between before and after .
One more thing that I think might help even more then the above is that NEVER STOP BELIEVE IN YOURSELF , no matter what you can do it I am living proof of that :-))).
Good luck everybody.
