I was searching the internet for reasons why supposedly alkaline producing fruits produce acid instead of alkaline products. About 1/3 of the population can't process fructose when it exceeds glucose in any particular fruit. The bacteria then metabolize it to acid products. It's very disappointing since smoothies are so popular. Dates, raisins and figs have a 1:1 ratio, but most other fruit has excess fructose. I haven't found a complete chart yet for all the fruits. It would be great to find one that we can use for smoothies. Please post it if you find one.

Thanks Paula! The paleo chart is the best I've seen. By the way, I've found an alkaline snack - soy nuts. The ones you can buy are too salty for me, but it's easy to make your own. Downside is the estrogen in soy.
