Hi everyone!!! I am looking to start a Raw Food diet. I just bought the book becoming raw from Davis so Im educating myself :)Ive been vegan for a couple of years but now I want to go raw. I started eliminating bread.... baby steps.... heh :)
Quick questions for you though.... Are all Vega's products raw ??
Check out 80-10-10…there are several ways to go raw, but most raw diets are super high in fat. This book can really help. I believe the powders are raw, and some of the bars, I don't think the protein bar is.
I don't think anything you can purchase is truly 100% raw - though I also don't know what the benefit is of "100%" anything :) I agree with Rachel in that there are always different approaches to things.
I would be more concerned with the quality of the ingredients and the macronutrient ratios than anything else - especially from an athlete's point of view. Hope that helps!
