I would love to get other p90xers ideas on vegan meal plans. I am always surprised to see how much meat is still pushed to gain muscle. The way I understand it we get more then enough protein from leafy greens and Vega (of course).

Has anyone read Tony Horton's new book, Bring It?  Any comments?  He confused me on his diet position.

As a P90X independent coach and distributor it's great to see you here!  Love it.

So excited this group exists! I received P90X for Christmas. I'm a vegan so the meal plan definitely does not pertain to me.

The same principles from the p90x plan can be incorporated into a vegan diet in my opinion... it might not be exactly the same but close. As a vegan for the fat burner part its pretty easy to stay vegan and maintain higher protein and less carbs. I have to do things differently because of my metabolism... I basically eat a small meal every 2 hours, wish I  was joking lol. Hope people post  here a lot, I'd love to see others opinions. IMO vega sport goes awesome with p90x workouts

Betts: I emailed Vega with the same question as you and this is the answer they gave me.

Our Whole Food Health Optimizer was designed as a meal replacement that can be taken at anytime during the day. It contains 100% of your daily recommended vitamins and minerals, 26g of protein, fiber, Omega 3 & 6, EFA's and more.

The Sport Performance Protein was designed as an after workout shake containing 20g of protein with 5000mg of BCAA's. It will help with muscle recovery, repair and helps strengthen and tone your muscles. Many people also take this product throughout the day to increase their protein intake.
