Here is a book my osteopath insisted I read when I found out I was suffering from adrenal burnout: Adrenal Fatigue 'The 2st Century Stress Syndrome' What it is and how you can recover by James L. Wilson N.D., D.C., Ph.D

I spent 2 years trying to control my hypoglycemia caused by adrenal fatique. My doctor wanted to put me on antidepressants but I took control and changed my diet , stopped all caffeine and joined a yoga group. It took awhile but it worked...I do have to be careful of falling into hyper-reactive behaviour that put me their in the first place. This subject is huge...would love to start a discussion...I believe many are unknowingly suffering from adrenal burnout...caused by diet, over consumption of stimulants, social situations and historical emotional issues like loss and rejection.

Thanks for sharing your story, Michelle. Start a discussion anytime you'd like, girl; that'd be great!

Thanks for the note Michelle, like Ann said -- feel free to start a discussion anytime! Agreed, this is a huge topic and a gray area many docs overlook.

My former marriage was causing me to live at 99% stress. Add to it being an entrepreneur and owning my own business, and swimming in debt, one day it hit me. I had adrenal fatigue. A change in diet, and lifestyle really helped me and turned me around. I am able to feel "normal" again.

Hi All, I have recently been diagnosed with Adrenal fatigue by a Naturopath in London.  Up until seeing him I had got nowhere with finding out what is wrong with me.  I have only been taking supplements etc for three weeks.  Just wondering how long it will take to feel 'normal' again.  It's very frustrating but I am glad I know what is wrong.
