Ok I have some questions I hope someone can answer.

Brenden states mass produced vitamins are acid forming and hard to digest, all of them?

Brenden also states he doesn't take any vitamins. Well isn't WFHO a vitamin supplement?

Whats the difference between a vitamin, even in powder form, and WFHO?

How is WFHO not a vitamin supplement?

I am sure Jay will be found somewhere in the replies as I know you take WFHO :)

Part of the difference is that vitamins are "distilled", "synthesized" substances. Just as "enriched" food items don't register in the body in the same way as unprocessed foods, whole foods are sources of vitamins that the body "understands" and therefore absorbs more readily. Part of what is supposed to set Vega products apart from vitamins and other supplements is that it is sourced from whole foods. This is the quick and dirty response, I'm sure that the more fact-based in depth answer can be provided by another member - Jay? :)
I had a feeling this was the case. So basically the vitamins in WFHO are all plant derived in whole forms. So plant dust?
We should actually have Vega Kelly answer this one again. Most of the vitamins and minerals in the formula are from the whole foods that are in the ingredients, but it had been reformulated once with some added vitamins and minerals added (I'm not sure which and how much) so that it could be a whole meal and supplement in one!

Yes typically supplemental vitamins and mineral tablets are acid forming, but if you look at the formula as a whole then you see it still remains approx. 3:1 ratio in favor of alkaline forming food. I for example was taking quite a few supplements before I started using WFHO and have eliminated the need for most of them, by choosing Vega as my meal/support.
I don't know the answer to your question, but I don't take vitamins, either; just WFHO. I feel much healthier, & more vibrant since I made the switch about 6 months ago.
So when do you all take WFHO? In the morning? After a workout? Or do you keep it with you (ie. at the office) and use when necessary?

Thanks
I don't personally have any rules as to when I take it; Sometimes it's breakfast, sometimes it's lunch, sometimes it's an afternoon snack. And I'll drink it pre- or post workout. Just whenever it seems to fit into my day
@ Glenn

Timing is all about your needs. I find that WFHO with a cup of berries and a banana is a breakfast smoothie that sustains me through a day. Be in tune with your body and when it needs certain foods, I know, easier said than done, but a practice well worth the effort towards overall health.

There is even the option to split WFHO. Have half serving in the morning and a half later in the day. Blend half serving with 1/2 cup frozen berries and eat with an apple dipped in a few salba seeds. This makes a really pleasant and filling snack post dinner to prevent the late eve snack session.
