share. learn. thrive!
Hi!
I have been on a plant-based diet for almost a year. Overall I am quite pleased with the changes, however, I would like to lose more body fat. I am fairly muscular, 5'7, 125lbs, and 21.9% body fat. I'd love to get to around 18%. I am wondering the best way to do it?? Increase protein?? Decrease overall calories?? I'm really not sure. I try to eat 50 grams of protein/day. Any tips welcome!

Two pieces of fruit like an apple and a cup of strawberries is about the most you should do if you are wanting to cut some fat. Eat every 2-3 hours so your blood sugar does not spike when you eat something. If you watch your sugar and get on the cardio you will see results. Drink about a gallon of water a day it will help aid in digestion and flush fat cells.
