Some may call it obsessed, we call it dedicated.

That level of uncompromising dedication requires uncompromised nutrition.

Specifically developed in three comprehensive stages to help you perform at your best, without compromise—before, during and after training.

The Vega Sport performance system is 100% plant-based, free from dairy, gluten and soy, and contains no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.

Hi Michelle!

Happy to hear you found somewhere to purchase the Vega Sport Performance Optimizer. The thing to remember is that Vega Sport does contain sugar because glucose is a necessary fuel for our muscles and brain. Each serving of Vega Sport has 13g of sugars. I guess it's up to you to decide whether or not that is too much. If you're concerned, maybe take only 1/2 serving of sport so you're only getting 8g of sugar before your swim.

Thanks so much 13g of sugar is ok I am guessing the total carbs is about the same so that is equal to eating a piece of Fruit excellent :) I can't wait to pick it up tonight.

I also quit coffee almost two weeks ago, switched to yerba mate, and am still struggling with fatigue and somnolence. I took a half packet of Vega Sport this morning and feel extremely stimulated, even speedy. Can anyone tell me the caffeine content of Vega Sport per serving? The 'speedy' feeling can't be from just the yerba mate, as I drink that on its own without the strong stimulated effect.

Thanks!
Joanna - There is about 100mg of caffeine in Vega Sport from the green tea and yerba mate but unlike coffee will not cause 'jitters' or dehydration.

Kari...
I've been having the gaseous issues with the Vega WFO, but not the SPORT drink.
I don't know if they've changed their formula for the WFO in recent months/ years, because when the product first came out, I didn't have this response to it.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems with bloating/ gas using the WFO.
I don't want to stop, because it's become a fairly constant staple in my diet... but this can't go on. :S

I've been using the sport drink for awhile now and from various perspectives it is a good product; however, I'll perpare two servings for a long bike ride and within 2 1/2hrs I have indigestion and I am gaseous and uncomfortable. I can't recall having that reaction to anything before. Anyone else? Someone have some insight and/or solutions?
Oh...
Sport drink is good, btw :)
Although, probably not a good idea to take daily, as I'm already increasing my dosage after one week.
Same as anything I geuss... body adjusts.
I'd love to try it... Whens it coming to Australia?
Just shake a scoop with a cup of water in your water bottle and drink about 20-30 minutes before your workout. If you have a longer workout, you can also sip throughout. It's a drink, not a gel. Have a great workout!

so do you just drink it before? or do you put it in your water bottle? it sounds like some people are taking it like they would a gel :) thanka a bunch! Meg

Hey Michael,

Both flavours are quite refereshing... really just a matter of personal preference. No problem on taking Health Optimizer in addition to reduce adrenal fatigue but it's best taken an hour or two before or an hour following a workout for nourishment whereas Vega Sport is designed to take immediately before or during a workout for an immediate performance enhancing boost. Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Anthony

I like the Lemon Lime flavor. It gives me LOTS of energy. I took packet around 5pm yesterday and was up all night. I'll take less next time I take it in the evening. I still had lots of energy today despite 4 hours of sleep.
I had my first dose of Vega Sport on the weekend just prior to doing a short 6km trail run. The thing I found was there was a lot less pain during recovery and less muscle cramping etc. In addition to pre-workout I am going to using Vega Sport to curb my Starbucks addiction, quad shot lattes, and venti brewed coffee with 2 shots of espresso get pricey. Hoping that the other benifits are more than monetary with Sport
