I just wanted to say that I did some research regarding the ingredients of Vega and if they were harmful to babies and children. I did read somewhere that you should be careful with Maca with infants. I have been feeding my little girl Vega Whole Food Health Optmizer since she was 1 and Vega Shake & Go Smoothie since it came out and have not seen any reaction at all. The benefit of Vega while teething is fantastic! You always know they eat. :)

Thanks for your reply. I was worried about the maca & the chloresssence (I think that's waht it is called). Maca has a stimulant effect (although I haven't read the research on it yet) and the chloressence is a detoxifier.
When I make my smoothie in the morning I only use 1 scoop of WFHO in it. My daughter has maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 of the smoothie. She's been drinking them since she was about 14 months. She loves the Chocolate Vega Shake & Go Smoothie the most and blended with a banana is an easy breakfast in the morning. I do blend with rice milk though - not just water. Here's an article on the MacaSure site that refers to the vitamins and benefits of Maca for kids. http://macasure.com/resources/articles/carmen-mattes.html
