I am addicted to the Vega oil blend!! The botttle says "take 1 or 2 tablespoons daily...". Is it safe to eat more than 2 tbsp per day? That's the only type of oil I have been consuming since I started using it.

Love this one! Yes, 1-2 tablespoons is just the recommended serving. Feel free to use more as you like. :)
is this the optimal/recommended way to consume it and is this how most take the oil? would it be better to add to shakes or just take by the tbsp full or does it now matter as long as youre getting it on a daily basis? i just got mine in but havent taken it yet b/c im not sure. thanks in advance.

American Bodyworks: I use the oil in my salads; plain cooked potatoes; or plain cooked noodles (omg.....it's so GOOD!). I haven't used it in my shakes yet. I hope you got the big bottle because it's so addictive. :)
For the expired oil, the best before date is just that "best before" not bad after. The antioxidant blend helps to keep the oil fresh too. That said, the quality and nutrition of the oil can deplete after the best before date. One of the things that can impact quality is storage. If the bottle was stored in the fridge then the chances are higher that it is still okay. Use your discretion on this one.

I blend mine into shakes, and I used it some of the recipes from the Thrive book! Often though, I just take it straight up like cough syrup..pour into a spoon and gulp it down!

What an awesome post, I definitely enjoyed this. I take more than 2 tbsps per day as well I'd say!

My favourite way to use EFA: big bowl of salad greens, drizzled with EFA oil, covered in spirulina.  That's it.  AAAAMAZING.
I love the stuff!  I just recieved the bottle and have been using it on my salads in place of olive oil.  I love olive oil and people have told me to watch how much of it I use because it is high in calories for just a tablespoon.  Should I be cautious of this oil as well with calories?
