Vega and Nonvegans - How do you incorporate the products into your omnivorous diet?

HI,

I am a meat eater, and I use Vega's WFHO.

I am trying to get healthier and lose weight.  I have altered my diet to include healthier proteins, less processed grains, less junk food etc.

Are there more out there like me, who are using the WFHO to supplement their diet and are still eating meat regularly?

I would love to hear other ppl's ideas on healthy recipes and meal plans that aren't necessarily vegan or vegetarian. :)

Hey, nobody else has responded to your thread so I thought I'd drop a message! I suppose I am also a "meat eater", because I really don't know what else to consider myself. I am known to eat meat on occasion, probably once a month, but always from a local source. At any rate, I also use Vega as a supplement, though no longer, because I was a die hard WFHO fan who will not be purchasing Vega One when I run out of my last few tubs (unless the price is reduced accordingly). Are you looking for recipes specifically including Vega products or healthy recipes in general? I have a few favourites that I keep coming back to that are easy and delicious that I'd love to swap. I'm always looking for new and delicious ideas!

i just mix it with things cuz i like the taste and texture. and i get so many nutriants out of it which is just an awesome bonus

I am what some would call "Flexiatarian."  During my travels or during intense training sessions I do in fact have animal products now and again.  I like to use the WHFO to supplement my daily nutritional needs- usually one scope (half serving) mixed in with a snack- chocolate almond milk, sugar free lemonade, etc. Or added to meals- plain works great in rich soups.

Unfortunately, I am a meat-eater. I only eat grilled or baked, organic, ethically-raised chicken and fish. I use Vega One daily. I try, but usually fail, to stay away from grains. I also eat lots of veggies and fruits to help minimize my meat consumption. Basically, I somewhat follow the Paleolithic diet. As I mentioned, I'll eat grilled chicken or salmon for dinner on a bed of spinach with steamed broccoli or mixed veggies. If I do eat a grain, then I opt for Quinoa. I use lots of herbs to to make my chicken/fish taste better. For breakfast, I'll drink a smoothie or eat Kashi cereal with almond milk and fresh fruit. Sometimes I'll have toast with peanut butter and fruit. I only eat meat once a day for dinner.
