I had a question regarding bananas, and what i can sub for them in smoothies and/or pudding, due to being allergic. Any suggestions/hints would be greatly appreciated.
There is a really good recipe in Whole Foods to Thrive for a breakfast pudding using chia seeds as a pudding base.
IF your just asking a fruit to sub for bananas....Since you are trying to get a fruit with similar nutrition I suggest buy a bag of mixed frozen fruit...make certain no added sugar or preservatives. Sub a handful....and add some papaya or mango.
Avocado can be used to add texture.
Pears are good for appropriate texture as well.
