Not sure if the makers of Vega read this - but I REALLY wish they would come out with a product WITHOUT Stevia.  I do not like the taste of Stevia and as I never use sweeteners I can really taste it.

I love the ingredients in the WFHO but even the Natural flavor has 100 mg of Stevia.  I do not have a sweet tooth and I don't want to develop one.  What gives???

Also, I tried the Sport powder for the first time and it was great for my workout - I wasn't tired at all after an intense hour long gym session - but is it worth the 12 grams of sugars?  I am trying to lose 10lbs and need to limit my sugars so I don't think it's justifiable to have a sports drink with that much sugar.

Just some food for thought.  Suggestions welcome!!

Hello Christina,

We do have a product that does not contain stevia, it's our Smoothie Infusion. This would be a great alternative to the Whole Food Health Optimizer. It is an instant boost of complete protein, fiber, Omega 3 EFA's and green food.

The Sport Performance Optimizer does contain 12g of sugar from the Organic palm nectar. Organic palm nectar  provides a clean-burning fuel that is easily absorbed and utilized by the muscles and is the prime energy source for optimal brain function. Entering the bloodstream at a slow and steady rate, it provides sustaining energy.

Hope this information has been helpful,

That IS helpful and good to know.  I will give the Smoothie Infusion a try.  Still not sure I should be taking in so much sugars from the SPO while I'm in weight loss mode (my goal max is 20g sugars/day) but will try it when I need a boost and am closer to my weight goal.  Thanks so much, Alana!

Question - It does not look like the Smoothie Infusion has the genlatinized Maca.  Is this the case?  Are there any other supplements that should be added to a smoothie when using the infusion?

I realize this post is old, but I agree with Christina and really cant stand the taste of stevia. I just picked up the new vega energizing smoothie mix thinking it did not have stevia but it turns out it does.

Are there any products in the new Vega line that don't have stevia?

Thanks!
