I was going to make Erin's Apple Cider Vinegar Cocktail, but when it called for stevia, I didn't have any. I went to the store and saw Truvia, which is processed, and other brands like "In the raw" that have maltodextrin. I was just wondering what brands and what kind of Stevia any of you might recommend. It seems like all the choices are extracts, is it not possible to get Stevia as a whole food?
Also -- what is the difference between raw Apple Cider Vinegar and another brand that has only one ingredient (Apple cider vinegar).

Thanks..

Hi Jesse,
While it is possible to obtain stevia leaves (you could even buy a small stevia plant if you wishes), you can't mix those directly with your water. You could grind them into powder and then try it, but you'd have to be sure not to use more than a pinch. If you're making herbal tea, adding a couple leaves directly to the pot is also a good option.
