Yeah, I try to avoid high-glycemic index foods like fruit juice, bananas, dates and other tropical fruits because I find they cause a glycemic spike that leaves me constantly hungry and craving sugar. As well, ACV is supposed to have numerous health benefits.

I have been trying to cut back on fruit juice by making huge batches of green tea and I mix 100% pomegranate juice with it. I use that for smoothies at lunch.
Charlene-- I am sure that is better to eat some bananas after a salad than dried banana chips (they have sugar). Unfortunately that is what I was eating as I typed this last night. I think I will keep some bananas in the freezer so I have a reserve snack if I need it.
